We craft different and unique projects for our clients based on their personal vision for their space. However, it’s not unusual for us to be contacted because a client has achieved a desirable landscape in one area of their property, but faces a disconnect to another part of their outdoor space. We love these types of projects for the phase by phase nature of the work getting to an end result of one cohesive beautiful space.

In this case, our client first reached out to us to help with their backyard landscaping. Once that was completed, the client was so pleased with the result that they called again to help with their front yard landscape. This project expanded to  revitalize their pool deck, and we are now in the planning stages for their outdoor kitchen.

CLIENT NEEDS & PLANNING

Our design team got to work ideating around how to solve our client’s landscape. We broke the project up into 3 phases, each focusing on a different area. 

• Phase 1 of this project focused on the backyard landscape and the client’s two patios, including lighting. 
• Phase 2 focused on the front yard landscape.
• Phase 3 tackled the pool deck.

Phase 1

The client’s property was plagued by wildlife damaging the landscape, tall shrubs blocking their backyard’s nature views, the area overgrown with weeds, vines, stunted trees, and a bad irrigation system was causing everything to be extremely dry. Further, the patio was worn and falling apart. The client wanted a separate entertaining area adjacent to her pool deck, and additional irrigation was needed in the backyard to accommodate the new design. Our hardscape team introduced beautiful organic patio shaping and options to maximize the entertainment space.

Phase 2

Tree stumps remained from fallen trees and were an eyesore for our client. They also wanted the yard’s jasmine ground cover replaced with a different plant. Meanwhile, the flower bed running along the house’s perimeter did not complement it well, and the overall landscape design was randomly clustered. 

Phase 3

We focused on the client’s pool deck, which was worn out and dated. The client wanted the pool deck to match the patio installed during phase 1 to give the entire landscape design a cohesive look.

INSTALLATION

Installation for the client included landscaping, hardscaping, lighting, and irrigation, as well as ongoing maintenance services.

From hosting beautiful get-togethers to withstanding harsh Florida elements, the project has been a huge success over the years.
